Alternative to Video Analysis to Determining Rates of Rotation
Can a magnetometer or accelerometer be squeezed into a cubesat to take attitude change data for one or more cubes? One option would be to use an HP iPAQ 2795 PDA connected to a 6 channel Dataq CF2 which takes 3 axis data from a MMA7260Q accelerometer and/or a Honeywell HMC2003 magnetometer. The PDA is at least 1 cm too long to fit (although it could be taken apart..).
